Ghoul Gruel’s review published on Letterboxd:
Some good squelchy and crickety clackety sounds throughout this one.
Something I love about Southeast Asian horror is that it always delivers some fucked up death, always gets a good balance between the practical and CG effects, and the kids are never off limits when it comes to the carnage.
This ticks all those boxes but at the same time just doesn’t really do a lot. Production is all on point but, outside of the Bjorkish Holy Mary-cum-cicada outfit, there was nothing interesting or new.
