Ghoul Gruel’s review published on Letterboxd:
Well not one single part of this is what I expected it to be or went where I thought it would go. Like a cheap student theatre piece translated to film and yet… strangely endearing? I teetered on the edge of losing interest but the story was just odd enough to keep me watching. Mild continuous befuddlement. The most milquetoast unravelling. The LB summary is hardly the plot, more of a starting point. Plot lines are abandoned. Characters are dropped. On paper it must read as chaos but it’s delivered with the all thrill and energy of being stuck in traffic.
Part of me is so disappointed in what I didn’t get. Another part of me admires it. It’ll stick with me, for whatever reason.
