I’m glad that he got to spend the last year of his life surrounded by the people he loved, but it’s also so fucking sick that it didn’t have to be the last year of his life and it wouldn’t have been if there wasn’t a stigma around trans people getting the healthcare they deserve.
If they had let him get that hysterectomy, he would’ve lived a long and healthy life with his children and everyone that he loves. And…
