Day 2: Zombies (again)

a cemetery of great ideas (and possibly multiple scripts)
practical effects are great, young leads are cool, the cunt-serving looks of Julie are amazing (can you imagine That Bitch in the Exoskeleton on the battlefield?) but

there is a single yet quite great but.

sadly, it's just plain boring.

the satire is subtle as a brick. the zombies are yet again back to square one, pretty much all of O'Bannon's innovations are forgotten.
Julie being the only sentient zombie is some sort of a paradox for this movie. She behaves more like a vampire who's been introduced to the World of Pain by Pinhead rather than a (rather thinking) zombie

I dunno, it could've been great, but it's just "meh" with some drops of "whoa amazing"

P.S. Where's punk-rock OST when you need it?..
