Well, this movie definitely doesn’t have a complex plot. Just a group of characters, without even needing to remember their names, went to a lonely cabin in the woods. And, occasionally, just evoke demons. Seems like a pretty normal vacation, huh.
The costumes, special effects, cheap gore, and a lot of screaming are the main parts of this movie. Sam Raimi just didn’t care about anything else, and it looks like he had a budget of a big, cheesy pizza. It’s fantastic how much work and love the crew invested in this trashy movie. Like, every minute, some things happen without explanation just to look cool. And it just works.
