Whoosh, talk about subverting the expectations
Fast zombies! Smart zombies! Punk-rock soundtrack (also that score is TO DIE FOR, honestly)! Linnea Quigley!! Anti-army satire!!

Really funny and smart, and absolutely scary at times, "The Return..." gave me much more than I thought I'd get. And waaay before 28 days... and its spiritual successors began dissecting the genre that died many times before just to get resurrected again.
