So Taryn is a heroin addict but agrees to get admitted and give up the drugs to avoid juvie, but Freddy is out for revenge and starts picking off her and her friends, so she gets dream switchblades! Wait, no.

Joins the list of twin films coming out in close space to each other that aren’t really cash-ins but you know they were inspired by the same script when it was doing the rounds (see Armageddon/Deep Impact, Dante’s Peak/Volcano, The Prestige/The Illusionist).

Jennifer Rubin’s bangs and eyebrows carry this totally redundant tale of Dream Warriors (which she was also in, like she just never left the set). It’s a serviceable film with a good burned guy getup and some pulpy blood, but feels totally undercooked without latching it onto some established lore and characters. 

My fav part was the cops response to someone getting pushed off a roof which was *shrug and walk away*, which is how I feel having watched this.

The girl playing Lana also voiced Tommy Pickles and Buttercup.
