I don’t trust David Chaskin and I think his answers were a crock of shit. We didn’t see much of their conversation but it was giving “I’m sorry you got upset.” One day I’ll have to watch Never Sleep Again. And of course Jack knew what he was doing. 

I feel for Mark. He gives a really human and vulnerable perspective. This thing’s haunted him and burned such a big hole into his life. I don’t blame him for not being able to let it go. 

I’m so glad Freddy’s Revenge exists the way it does. I loved Jesse. Him and the “sub text” are the most interesting parts of the film (which is a massive downgrade otherwise). It’s way ahead of its time, but not for any of the reasons Chaskin intended and I don’t think he should get any credit for it.
