I want to remake this movie utilizing the characters of Persona 4 because lord knows the killer would be best girl Nanako Dojima as my girl loves herself some Junes. But anyways a few weeks ago I saw a movie called The Intruder that starred Shatner as a racist trying to stir up trouble in the south. This Intruder is a very generically named slasher flick with some very cool non-generic kills. Here we utilize a grocery store for all your claustrophobic and bizarre methods of death needs. Has all the tropes of your 80s slasher as this is from 89 but it does manage to have fun with all of them and throw in a couple of fun twists. The ending definitely was a cool cliffhanger and one that actually felt earned from previously established moments.

Sam Raimi has a fun small part and a couple of cameos from Ted Raimi and Bruce Campbell, as it is directed by Scott Spiegel, cowriter of Evil Dead II, RIP.
