[Criteria: 2/5 zombie films]

Painfully literal and loses out on every bit of social commentary and nuance that George A Romero inbued in the original but otherwise pretty fun at times for a zombie flick set in a hopeless world. Snyder before his Snyderisms took over was pretty great at direction and I wish his undersaturated nonsense would fade away to bring back whatever he was doing here. Gunn's writing also feels very juvenile. Very forgettable.

PS: lol it was great to see Dr Pratt in this.
