Slappy McGee’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was certainly intrigued by this "somewhat" true story of Barney and Betty Hill and their supposed abduction and examination by some gray aliens that took place in the 60's.
I was certainly impressed by the great performances given by both James Earl Jones and Estelle Parsons.
But I really did like the delivery method of how they told this story through several sessions of hypnosis and flashbacks. Just seemed clunky as hell. Yeah, I downright hated that choice.
Soooooo... for me, this movie was almost enjoyable.
Key word being: "almost".
