The second feature of the Trylon's 16mm Double Feature. Of course I've seen Night of the Living Dead many times but this was my first time seeing this one. Not quite what I was expecting but it was a good one. Less a zombie movie and more take on the Monkey's Paw story but sprinkling in attitudes from the Vietnam era. Richard Backus does such a good job at being incredibly unsettling throughout, completely unemotional but still keeping the performance lively. The Savini makeup at the end is some stellar stuff.
Standout character the mailman, who informs us, while mooching food that "WWII now that was a war and that some good men didn't come home and some who shouldn't have did."
