Slappy McGee’s review published on Letterboxd:
Mean, mean, mean-spirited movie.
Like a low-rent "HOSTEL".
However, they are selling humans rather than cutting 'em up.
They do make an age-old error with the plotting by not allowing us to get to know or care very much about the young people who get kidnapped. Lowers our rooting interest quite a bit. And they kind of come across as belligerent and whiny (understandable of course because they've been kidnapped and locked in horse stalls, but still...).
However, the ending of the film takes so many twists and turns that it rises far above where it should be in terms of cleverness. I actually ended up loving how it all turned out. Go figure.
