One of the best gangster movies ever. Craig Ross Jr as Writer and Director gave a level of weight that makes this seem less theatrical and more account based reality.

Allen Payne as Tristan wasn't super believable as a gangster per se but his performance gave main character energy so he played a perfect protagonist for this film. Furthermore, what's just as captivating is the young cast is just as if not better performing as the present day adults.

The 1st third of the movie is solid. The setup of Brandon (Deiondre Teagle) gaining safe passage from his sister Angela (Faith McCoy) and brother Clarence (Travis Cutner) after busting out of prison gave time to establish their relationship dynamics and characterization with stakes. The inciting incident that brought the other 2/3s of the movie made for a terrible sink of quality.

A Dr with a life-changing discovery on the run is not new by any means but this has me wanting more based on the ending. The effects were sincerely made which gripped my attention and led to me make questions about ethics of novel discovery at work, surveillance, and the greatest good. ALOT to pack in a short film but pleasantly done.
