MrPPeeps’s review published on Letterboxd:
Very cheesy, very predictable and because it has the backing of a decent, inspirational true story, they allow the writing to be pretty bloody lazy, especially with the main characters relationships with his family. But for everyone involved, it's 'job done'. Decent action, decent character work and Matthew McConaughey is putting in a typically great performance. I don't think "The Lost Bus" will disappoint you, it's about what you'd expect, but I can't personally say it's anything spectacular either.
