I'm a bit late (again) with making this list because of one exam, internship and the need to finish a show. Hopefully I can watch more films than the last few times.

1 | Kevin did a great job hosting last month, watch a film they gave 4 stars or higher. (This is a free space for Kevin).

2 | My watchlist has way too many movies on it, but it all started with one. Go to your watchlist, sort it by when added, and scroll to the bottom. Watch the first movie you put on your watchlist. If that movie isn't out yet, work your way up from the first film until you get to something that is.

3 | One of my long-term goals is to see every movie on the Letterboxd Top 250. Watch a movie on the Letterboxd Top 250. Here's the list.

6 | I've been watching a lot of horror movies this year, but one genre that stands out is giallo. They're Italian murder-mystery slasher films and they're really fun. Watch a giallo. You can use this list for examples.

10 | Another genre that I've really enjoyed getting into this year is Samurai films. Watch a Samurai movie. You can use this list for examples.

12 | My favorite band growing up was Linkin Park. Watch a movie that features one of their songs, or that features Chester Bennington or another member of the group as an actor.

13 | Speaking of music, I've been really into musicals for the last couple of years. Watch a musical. I recommend Anna and the Apocalypse or Rocky Horror Picture Show.

14 | I buy a lot of movies, and there's a bunch that I haven't seen yet. Watch one of the movies in my blu-ray collection.

15 | One of my favorite actresses is Natalie Portman. Watch a movie starring Natalie Portman.

16 | Production design is an often overlooked part of filmmaking. Go on the page of the movie you chose for #15 and click the crew tab. Watch a movie from the same person who did the production design on #15.

17 | Time to see how effective averages are! Watch a movie with the same average rating as #16.

18 | One way to appreciate pacing is to watch another movie of the exact same length and see if it's equally as entertaining. Watch a movie with the same runtime as #17.

19 | I'm a huge of fan of Japanese animation. Watch an animated film from Japan that is not a Ghibli movie.

20 | I enjoy video games about as much as movies. Watch a movie that was turned into a video game, not a movie about a pre-existing game. This list should help.

21 | My favorite YouTube channel is RedLetterMedia. I often watch movies just so I can hear them discuss the movie afterwards. Watch a movie they did a Re:View on.

22 | Now for something easy! Watch a movie that starts with the first letter of your last name.

23 | Go to random.org and generate a random number. Watch the movie for the number you got on this list.

24 | I'm a big fan of comic books and superhero movies, but I think the genre gets a bad rap now since Marvel and DC have become so huge. Watch a superhero movie that is not based on a Marvel or DC character/property.

25 | I'm currently in college as a Cybersecurity major. Watch a movie about and/or relating to computers.

26 | I am also taking a minor in writing and I enjoy writing short stories in my free time. Watch a movie about an author.

27 | I like to read a lot as well, but I have trouble getting myself to read classics. Good thing there's movie adaptations! Watch a film adaptation of a classic novel.

28 | Another one of my favorite actors is Mads Mikkelsen. Watch a movie starring Mads Mikkelsen.

29 | It's good to experience other cultures. Watch a movie from a country you've never seen a movie from.

30 | As I've mentioned before, I've been watching a lot of horror movies this year. It's my favorite genre, and there's a lot of excellent gems to find. Watch a horror movie that has been seen by less than 8K people on Letterboxd.

31 Letterboxd recently added a new watchlist feature that lets you shuffle your watchlist to decide what to watch. Go under the "sort by" tab, click shuffle, and pick one of the first five movies that appears.
