Zany, garish and bonkers in all the ways that makes a Tobe Hooper movie special. So many colorfully twisted moments that gets incredibly gory by the end but it's hella fun! Especially loved how Hooper infused the meta elements of the horror with his usual examination of fucked up American family dynamics. Excellent horror once again by the maestro!
