Slappy McGee’s review published on Letterboxd:
Really more of a horror film than a horror/comedy... and that's fine with me. It's extremely well executed.
Plus the film steers cleverly into satire by pulling off a hard cinematic trick: using racism to highlight the evils of racism. Sounds easy, but it's not. The creative team here, though, does an amazing job with it and it really works. The satire then allows for the comedy to support the horror. (That sounds overly analytical, but I think it's quite accurate in this case).
And... it's just downright fun.
It's a fun horror romp through a cabin in the woods!
Nice!
