Unfortunately I was pretty bored by this. I really enjoyed the fantastical imagery during the dream sequence, but the rest of this was a bit too dry for me.
I like bits of what the film is saying about sexual repression and gender dynamics, but the conversation on stuff like that has changed so much that I think this film just feels really dated in that regard. I'm curious how the 80s remake would compare for me.
