This definitely counts as a horror movie if you read the behind the scenes info lmao.
What a gorgeous movie to look at even after almost 100 years. Incredible sets. God I love matte paintings.
Love the scene when the Wizard is revealed to be a phony and its whole moral. The only thing that makes so many other people "greater" than you is superfluous awards and recognition, but true greatness lies in how you believe in yourself and treat others. This idea is probably the the secret sauce that makes this movie so timeless. I'd love to show this movie to my kids one day.
