Crazyyyy stuff. This is freaking diabolical.

I went into the theatre without watching any trailer, story details, or spoilers and Goddamn what a crazy experience. One of my best theatre experiences ever. This film has everything. An absolute masterpiece.

The film focuses on themes of obsession, desire, toxic love, control, loneliness, and how far people can go when they become obsessed with someone.

Better Days (2019) emotionally wrecked me. Despite its hopeful title, this is an absolutely heartbreaking story about Chen Nian and Xiao Bei, two lonely souls brought together by pain, cruelty, and circumstance. I genuinely ran out of tears by the end.
