One of her last wishes was for Musk, Trump, Putin, Xi, Netanyahu & co to be shipped off to space and be reincarnated into “poor, wretched animals” used in lab experiments.

So eerie watching her give this pre-recorded interview knowing that she will be dead when it is released.

May she rest in peace and may her impact be a lasting reminder to have compassion and hope in humanity to get its shit together — for the planet, animals, and for one another.

"Famous Last Words" is an interesting concept for a documentary series on Netflix, hosted by Brad Falchuk. This is based on a Danish show, and the conceit is that a luminary from any field records an interview, but it’s only released posthumously.

Since I found Ms. Goodall a fascinating woman and humanitarian, I was pulled to watch. I wasn’t disappointed. She is very present, thoughtful, and caring in what she shares.
While the moderator felt a bit stilted at times, Goodall was still able to curate what she wanted to say in an interesting way.

You will be so dearly missed, Dr. Jane Goodall.

“…your life does matter, and that every single day you live, you make a difference in the world, and you get to choose the difference you make”

the last few minutes with Jane directly speaking to the audience, giving her last message to the world gave me chills. a brilliant mind with a brilliant purpose.

No puedo creer cómo en una hora transformó por completo mi visión de la vida y de mi propósito en ella.

La manera en la que Jane habla sobre nuestro planeta y nuestra existencia en él es algo que todo el mundo debería escuchar. Ella siempre creyó que todos tenemos una misión en esta vida, y después de todo lo que hizo, siento que con este mensaje cerró la suya de la forma más impactante y sabia posible. De verdad imperdible.

i feel you. i love you. and yes i'm crying.

When Jane Goodall says you matter, it’s your cue to sob inconsolably.

I am so glad to have lived in a world where Jane Goodall existed.
