In the notes, I list which Academy Awards it is, the year represented by the award, the actress, and the actor.
I thought it would be fun to see the films that had such great performances, they won both acting Oscars.
Surprisingly, only It Happened One Night (1934), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), and the Silence of the Lambs (1991) also won Best Picture. Those were the only films to win Best Director as well. The other years (1976, 1978, 1981, 1997) all had the same films win Best Picture and Best Director, except for the odd year of 1981.
Network (1976) also won Best Supporting Actress (Beatrice Straight).
