I've decided to partake in a new challenge for 2026, the 2026 Asian Cinema Challenge! I am a huge Japanese film lover, and I've dabbled in some other Asian cinema, but I still haven't explored them as much as I'd like to. This seems like a good way to begin skimming the surface of these vast cinematic landscapes. All chosen films are new to me.

Since this is my first year doing this challenge, I will follow the prompts as given in the original challenge list. I am very excited to dive into this challenge. I've already discovered so many interesting films!
