You may choose your own film for each week, and it can be from any genre (unless specified), as long as it fits the criteria! Speaking of which, here are all the specifics for 2026:

Week 2 (Jan 8-14) - a biopic about a musician.

Week 3 (Jan 15-21) - any film that was released in the year that you were born.

Week 4 (Jan 22-28) - a film that has a colour in it's title.

Week 5 (Jan 29-Feb 4) - any film released by A24

Week 6 (Feb 5-11) - a film directed by Werner Herzog.

Week 7 (Feb 12-18) - a remake of a film that you love, that you've been putting off watching.

Week 8 (Feb 19-25) - a film that was at somepoint, banned in the UK.

Week 9 (Feb 26-Mar 4) - a film directed by Paul Verhoeven.

Week 10 (Mar 5-11) - a film adapted from a novel.

Week 11 (Mar 12-18) - a film that has won the "Best Picture" Oscar.

Week 12 (Mar 19-25) - a film that has won the "Worst Picture" Razzie.

Week 13 (Mar 26-Apr 1) - one of Quentin Tarantino's favourite films.

Week 14 (Apr 2-8) - any film from the Criterion Collection.

Week 15 (Apr 9-15) - any film that features Sean Bean dying.

Week 16 (Apr 16-22) - any one of the highest grossing films from the 1950s 

Week 17 (Apr 23-29) - a disaster/end of the world film.

Week 18 (Apr 30-May 6) - a film starring Linnea Quigley.

Week 19 (May 7-13) - a film based on a video game.

Week 20 (May 14-20) - a film directed by Sofia Copolla.

Week 21 (May 21-27) - a film that follows/is a spin off of a TV show.

Week 22 (May 28-Jun 3) - a Studio Ghibli film.

Week 23 (Jun 4-10) - a film that features a Bob Dylan song on it's soundtrack.

Week 24 (Jun 11-17) - any film released by Neon.

Week 25 (Jun 18-24) - a film that clocks in at 90 minutes or less.

Week 26 (Jun 25-Jul 1) - a film that features a kaiju.

Week 27 (Jul 2-8) - a film directed by Akira Kurosawa.

Week 28 (Jul 9-15) - a "killer shark" film.

Week 29 (Jul 16-22) - a film that was shot in Paris.

Week 30 (Jul 23-29) - a film starring Tom Waits.

Week 31 (Jul 30-Aug 5) - a documentary film.

Week 32 (Aug 6-12) - a film directed by David Lynch.

Week 33 (Aug 13-19) - a non MCU film that features two MCU actors.

Week 34 (Aug 20-26) - a film that has a country in it's title.

Week 35 (Aug 27-Sep 2) - a film that's plot is centred around a time loop.

Week 36 (Sep 3-9) - a gangster film.

Week 37 (Sep 10-16) - a film based on an Agathie Christie novel.

Week 38 (Sep 17-23) - any film that was considered a box office bomb.

Week 39 (Sep 24-30) - any Indonesian film.

Week 40 (Oct 1-7) - a film based on a Stephen King novel.

Week 41 (Oct 8-14) - any horror film that features vampires.

Week 42 (Oct 15-21) - any film released by Blumhouse.

Week 43 (Oct 22-28) - any film that had a distribution from Arrow Films.

Week 44 (Oct 29-Nov 4) - a film directed by Martin Scorsese.

Week 45 (Nov 5-11) - a film that features Nicolas Cage having a meltdown.

Week 46 (Nov 12-18) - a film based on, or that features a real life historic battle. 

Week 47 (Nov 19-25) - a Universal Monsters film.

Week 48 (Nov 26-Dec 2) - a film starring Julianne Moore.

Week 49 (Dec 3-9) - any film released by The Asylum.

Week 50 (Dec 10-16) - a film that takes place mainly in a snowy/icy setting. 

Week 51 (Dec 17-23) - a film set at Christmas time.

Week 52 (Dec 24-31) - a film with a plot that centres around finding lost treasure.
