With a surplus of remakes now in theatres (Highest 2 Lowest, The Roses, The Toxic Avenger), we’re resurrecting the second-ever Showdown in Letterboxd history. That’s right: we’re remaking remakes. Now that there are so many more reimaginings out there (Villeneuve’s Dune! Gerwig’s Little Women! Guadagnino’s Suspiria!), work it out on the remix by coming up with a list of ten films that you feel either improve upon or equal the original.
