I’ve seen the Hooptober challenge for what feels like forever, and this year I’m gonna give it a shot.

Everything will be first watches, and if it’s a rewatch it’s going to be a rewatch of something that I haven’t seen in a really long time (like the required Wizard of Oz—I’ve seen it multiple times, but I can’t tell you the last time). The only examples of this would be Survival of the Dead and Needful Things. I think I saw Survival of the Dead back in 2009 but really can't remember at this point, and Needful Things I loved when I was 12 but haven't seen it since then. I'm choosing them (as of now) for this challenge because I have been recently wanting to watch both. Titles may be subject to change as this challenge progresses.

I’m going to make note of where I saw each movie—if they came from my physical media collection, streaming, theatre, the (real) video store, or an online rental store. I may (definitely) end up using this as an excuse to pick up some titles for my collection.

I’m incredibly bad at challenges, and it doesn't matter if it is a challenge made by others or my own that I create, I usually never finish. But whatever, let’s see what happens!
