Hooptober redemption, here I come. Last year was my fourth Hooptober, but my first year not successfully getting to all 31 movies—I fell just short with 2 left to go. I’m really excited about this year's lineup, with a healthy variety of long-gestating movies I can finally cross off my watchlist, some new-to-me oddball titles I discovered while researching the prompts, and even a few films I was already planning on experiencing theatrically.
