NOTE: My list follows a few extra rules. Normally, I limit myself to 5 movies per decade and 5 movies per country, with international co-productions counting once per country involved (for example, The Bloodettes is counted twice - once for Cameroon and once for France). This year, I'm watching 6 movies from America because I couldn't bring myself to cut The Stepford Wives from the list.
My other rule is that I like to include movies that I had on my lists but didn't get around to during previous Hooptobers - this year I wanted to include at least three.Â
I will also watch the 3 assigned extra credit movies, but I have not counted them in my stats.
Now, here's how my list fulfills the requirements:
These movies span 24 countries: US (6), Japan (4), Canada (4), UK (4), Spain (2), Nigeria (1), Senegal (1), France (3), Belgium (1), Cameroon (1), New Zealand (1), Mexico (4), Estonia (1), Poland (1), Netherlands (1), Latvia (1), Argentina (1), Italy (1), Germany (1), Switzerland (1), Peru (1), USSR (1), Sweden (1), India (1)
