God, it still makes me sad David Lynch is dead.

This has been an odd year for me. Busy as all get out. Between school and work. The two often intersecting. It's been a lot. And I have a big short film I gotta make which has taken lots of headspace.

As a result, I've watched less movies. Which is funny, I still seem to outwatch sonuvabitches around me. Even other fuckin film students who should be watchin fuckin movies.

Actually, what I've mostly been watching is anime. Girl anime (fuck boy anime honestly). My Dress-Up Darling is one of my favorite shows and the last season was great. Speaking of horror, they actually had a really cool looking horror JRPG depicted that put real ones I've played to shame.

Even though I might break during Halloween time for more anime (Don't Toy with Me Miss Nagatoro has its last volume dropping), I must concede. Horror is my favorite genre and I've been mighty shirking it this past year. Well, time to dust off the bluray and VCR (no, it's not a FUCKING vhs player). The time's a comin to get lost in a sea of pools of blood.

Now, I shall have no qualms droppin shit that looks like shit. I know what I like, and if I ain't like it, odds are it won't get better. I'll try to work in Tobe Hooper, though I've hit most of the good ones.
