Psyche! From now on I am going to get one Carpenter film rather than a Hooper film. That's more fun, ain't it? Carpentober?! Way better ring to it.
FAIL! Oops — I lost interest and ran out of time, again! In a future decade I might get my numbers back up again. This year, I started playing ALAN WAKE 2, which is awesome and totally drew my interest away from watching movies.

After last year where I decided to painstakingly watch all the TEXAS CHAINSAW movies, I decided to actually enjoy this season more this time around. Fewer obligatory watches, less homework (resulting in highest average I think ever). A few themes this year: rewatches of movies I haven't seen in forever; knocking off lingering watchlist movies (still lots to go) and tried a few anthology films as a remedy for my limited evening time. Was really glad to finally see THE WAILING, CLUE and TOWN THAT DREADED SUNDOWN. Which are all movies I've had on my list for years... still need to get to ROADGAMES and GREMLINS 2 - two movies that have been sitting on that list for years and years.

Gonna be adding as I go. Another year with a new baby so likely won't get through much, but who knows! Going to try and see diverse stuff, my wife is contributing more suggestions this year.. but I am going to be pulling back on the franchise watches... I usually try to watch some full series but the shittiness of TEXAS CHAINSAW last year kind of broke me and I wasted most of October with those movies. More fun and weird stuff this year please, and a healthy hit of nostalgic horror from the simpler times.
