But I look forward to Hooptober every year, and this is my 5th year joining now. Which is insane to think I've been on letterboxd that long. But I've started watching far more movies these past 5 years than I ever would have sought out myself, so I wanted to keep up with that tradition this year. I purposefully went out of my way to include movies of as many different countries (some films are joint efforts by two countries as well) as I could while being within the Hooptober guidelines. I've often found some of my favorite movies by forcing myself to watch something new, so I hope this will help give me some new ideas for my own writing to be inspired by.
