I'll try and avoid the sophomore slump, life is busier so it's going to take good planning to get it done. Still I added the same extra requirement from last year, the movies need to be ones I have not seen yet (and like last year, only one kept me from having a full unwatched list).
My approach to the selection is to try and challenge myself with films that have been put off for far too long now, I claim to love horror but have so many glaring gaps in what I have seen, and have a tendency to skew towards modern films. So while not banning my preferences from this list, I will try…

There must be 31 horror films
6 countries (other than Italy or US): South Korea, Canada, Mexico, Estonia, Germany, UK
9 decades: 20's, 30's, 40's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's. 2010's
5 Zombie Films: Night of the Living Dead, Cemetery Man, Zombie 2, #Alive, Day of the Dead
3 cult or conspiracy horror films: The sacrament, Martyrs, The Stepford Wives
1 film from a Black director with a Black lead: Bad Hair
1 film from a Mexican or Central American director: Alucarda
1 Canadian film: Martyrs
1 former Soviet state film: November
The most popular film from the 1940s: Cat People
2 Post Apocalyptic horror films: Stake Land, Repo! The Genetic Opera
1 Film with dreams or a dream as part of the plot: A nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child
1 The animals are pissed at us film: The Birds
1 Silent film: The Phantom Carriage
4 based on Novels: The Stepford wives, November, The Phantom Carriage, The Wizard of Oz
