UPDATE 9.11: Had an opportunity to see Wizard of Oz in a theater so starting this challenge a few days early :) here we go! 

UPDATE 10.7: I moved around a couple things and replaced two films with ones I think I will be able to see in theaters this October (and that I am more excited about).

First year participating in this. I am trying to expand my horror palate. Admittedly, my list is not fully within the spirit of the challenge since these are pretty "basic" / mainstream films. But other than Wizard of Oz, I have not seen any of them! Maybe next year I can go a bit more obscure ;)
