My 9th Hooptober. The first couple of them Ron pressured me into doing because somehow it felt limiting to only watch stuff prescribed by a list. I was wrong, it's a nice way to force myself into some new areas. Again this year Josh will join us in person as the three of us will knock out about 15 or so movies over a weekend. Josh won't make or finish a list, Ron will and he'll crush the 31 movies before October starts but then he'll realize on October 29th he has done 50 movies but somehow has left 10 boxes unchecked. Jon might join us again, we'll see. He gets busy being a reply guy on threads.
My list…

My list won't be truly complete until midnight on Halloween. I will fill it out in advance to make sure I fulfill every rule on this year's list but I also will and up watching a lot of other stuff and add it as I go. I did 85 films last year but also I was in a weird place. I will do my list in rank order and that will be my watch order (except when I watch the same movie more than once which happens every year somehow).
