My lineup for Hooptober XII. One of the criteria was to watch one "the animals are pissed at us" movie. That spiraled into a list of eleven movies about killer bears.

29 of these 35 films are new to me. I've seen The Wizard of Oz, Cocaine Bear, and the first four of Romero's Living Dead films. (Night of the Living Dead is maybe the best horror film ever made.) I've always wanted to rewatch the series and finally see the final two.

Each film's fulfilled criteria will be listed in the notes. (My criteria differ in that I wanted films from at least nine non-English-speaking countries; at least one film from every decade from the 1910s-2020s; and at least one film directed by a woman.)
