The first is Street Angel, which had a limited release on April 9, 1928 which qualified it for the 1st Academy Awards, and then a wide release on August 19, 1928 which qualified it for the 2nd Academy Awards. second is The Quiet One, which received a wide theatrical release in 1948, and was then nominated at the 21st Academy Awards, and then also received a limited release in 1949 and then was nominated at the 22nd as well.
These are the films that have managed to score Oscar nominations across multiple ceremonies. This list will not include films that were nominated one year and received honorary Oscars another year.
