i will be attempting to combine these fun challenges this year. i have completed the 31/31 challenge (strict rules) two years running and my personal goal to beat is 36. therefore, i will watch at least 37 horror movies exclusively during October (not counting September) and also attempting to complete the Hoop-Tober challenge at the same time. if i can do this, it means that i am great and cool. list currently incomplete and subject to change - i have to do more research to satisfy the complex rules. watch this space, buy me a drink and don't invite me to anything fun.

**UPDATE**
10-19-16: i have officially completed all the required watching for Hoop-Tober 3.0 AND the 31/31 challenge in 34 movies! this was a lot of fun and got me watching things i wouldn't have otherwise. looking forward to next year! this list will be updated until 10/31 to see if i can beat my high score.
