I’m a sucker for well made, intertwining horror anthologies. This one was fun, about a young content creator getting stories from an older station master. I thought all of the segments were pretty solid, it had decent gore and effects, and I liked the themes of desperation and greed. Enjoyable watch.

Some decent fresh scares and excellent acting.

Love it when you click a little unknown film and it turns out far better than expected.

A very much like Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark mixed with, you know, every K-horror movies you have seen. From supernatural things to body horror, until a soul-eater scary cult. Creating stories that are unexpectedly creepier than The Grotesque Mansion. Ghost Train is an absolute popcorn entertainment for horror junkies who enjoyed being spooked by little scary podcast stories. Tak Se-woong knows how to build a simple haunted house horror with some little tricks for the audiences to stay seated.

It may not hit anything groundbreaking and has no higher ambition than to scare the audience, and it succeeds much of the time. Words of advice: The show will be intriguing and unpredictable, and there's a higher chance you will get those experiences if you come to the cinema knowing nothing about this film.

A lackluster attempt of an anthology that doesn't integrate its mediocre stories into a coherent frame plot. I felt betrayed by its own strategy. The whole thing felt very 'meh' to me.

For a movie about a YouTuber who hunts for scary/paranormal stories to boost her channel, you would think they are 'at least' extremely uncomfortable to sit through or spooky enough to make you peek through your fingers. But nope, I sit through it all with a straight face. What a disappointment.

I mean, yeah, it might sound pretentious, but believe me, they are embarrassingly bland and barely interesting to make conversation. If you want the truth, only the story of the homeless guy with the red soda was worth it. I enjoyed the hell out of this one.

You can skip this one. Take the next train.

While it excels at creating a gripping atmosphere,this film has a significant weakness. Its plot lacks focus, relying on back-and-forth, which can be confusing, and many unanswered mysteries, creating plot holes. Furthermore, the story feels cluttered due to the ineffective back-and-forth, which diminishes the narrative's strength.

Although the interspersed social critique about human ambition for popularity is quite interesting, this film is worth watching for horror fans who prioritize visuals and atmosphere, rather than those looking for a neat and sharp horror story.

The anthology setup works well and I loved how all the stories slowly link together, it makes the whole thing feel more connected than expected.

Each segment has its own eerie vibe and it keeps things interesting the whole way through. I just wish it leaned harder into the scares, because it never quite gets as creepy as it could.

It feels like I'm reading a fairy tale, a.k.a it's a Snoozefest, not scary at all, the acting is all stiff. I think Rina's story is the best in this movie, the rest is just so-so, also the cat man is the MVP. Story is so bad i didn't even scare for the jumpscare.
