A dissatisfied marriage, a secret crush, and workplace fantasies come to a head in a diner run by a mole with a hot ass.
The problem with screening Bug Diner first in the animated shorts category is that none of the other films are Bug Diner
Awarded at Sundance and SXSW, this orgiastic stop-motion short is a comic and seriously randy vision of primal urges flying in the face of propriety. Unforgettable images of non-human wooing and intimacy capture the full force of pleasure and desire, marking Phoebe Jane Hart as a director to watch.
Now streaming exclusively and (almost) globally.
I was on Mubi and saw this little short film. I figured I’d give it a watch because it looked like a cute little stop-motion film about bugs eating in a diner. I CERTAINLY DID NOT EXPECT THIS THOUGH????? WTF??? I’m never watching random films on Mubi again.
How do I rate this?
