I have learned I have an unerring ability to tell when the star of the short is also the director.
Never thought a shot of a port-a-potty being driven away would make me tear up but here we are.
This was so well done!! (& very fun)
I’d be shocked to hear that the director/star of this short doesn’t have some background in music videos, because oh my god, that sequence was perfect
A fun and creative short that examines grief in a creative way!
Absolutely adored this. A perfectly funny, surreal and bittersweet short about loss and moving on.
have loooooved kate hollowell’s whole vibe ever since i learned of her existence via the now defunct la city municipal dance squad. she is often a model for her bff penelope gazin’s art fashion line fashion brand company, my favorite place online to look at clothes, so when i saw her in front of south lamar today i got really excited and even more excited when i realized she had one of the shorts in the thing i was already planning on going to see!!!!
this short was so great. besides the fact that any film featuring gloria by laura branigan will be an immediate yes for me, it was so feminine and colorful and silly and tender which is…
“We’re all just friends walking each other home.”
This was very relatable in the idea of once someone passes away, see them again as some part of this world again. Even with grief and moving on being the main focus, this was some how very fun. Random Gloria dance number, but I was here for it.
