A slow burn drama thriller/horror as a young man tries to discover why his sister is missing. There might be a ghost. But it's more family drama did anything else.
decent horror with some supernatural elements. reminded me of hereditary in some ways, particularly the teen character. undermined by some slightly wobbly acting, i thought, but it's mostly perfectly fine.
Well, THAT was Canadian af! Which is weird, because it is, in fact, American. But still: Slow, dark, magic-realistic, filled with sad dread.
Moody. Foreboding. Dreary.
Some surprisingly decent acting.
horror / despair / religious / forest island.
first half is quite good.
