Classic Challenge 2026

2026 marks the 9th year for the Classic Film Challenge! This challenge was originally created by Christian Alec, then run by Aurora, and I took over in 2022.

Last year's challenge celebrated women in film, so to continue to channel my feelings about current events in positive ways, this year's challenge celebrates how immigrants built Hollywood and made it great.

Without immigrants we would not have the American film industry as we know it. Of the Big Five and Little Three Studios, only one was not founded or co-founded by an immigrant.
