Through modern eyes this seems extremely trite and toothless. The final shootout was masterful but I think a documentary about the Vietnam War would be more depressing than this.

Outstanding in its subtler moments, the chairs moving, the lights getting brighter, the television static, but by the end the horror becomes so extreme as to strain suspension of disbelief. Shouldve toned it down just a smidge.

almost lowered this to an 8/10 because the wish doesn’t get used creatively but then my brother said that that makes me like Jack Horner which made me laugh
