In 2012, Sight & Sound released their latest list of films given by asking critics to name their top 10 movies (http://www.bfi.org.uk/news/50-greatest-films-all-time). In just over 2 weeks, I watched all 20 (excluding 2001 which I rewatched recently) and decided to rank them.
The original list:
1. Vertigo
2. Citizen Kane
3. Tokyo Story
4. La Régle du jeu
5. Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans
6. 2001: A Space Odyssey
7. The Searchers
8. Man with a Movie Camera
9. The Passion of Joan of Arc
10. 8 1/2
11. Battleship Potemkin
12. L'Atalante
13. Breathless
14. Apocalypse Now
15. Late Spring
16. Au Hasard Balthazar
17. Persona / Seven Samurai
19. Mirror
20. Singin' in the Rain

For my list:
#1 - #3: Would make my top 20
#4 - #5: Could potentialy make my top 20
#6 - #15: Really great, I understand why they made the top 20
#16 - #20: Good, but I definitely don't think they belong in the top 20.
Note: The order from 6-10 and 11-13 is pretty interchangeable.
