Really really loved this. It’s been a while since we got a great entry in the “one long shitty night” sub-genre of film, and this one happens to have the scariest camel in the world in it, always a huge plus.
كنت اتمنى ان تصل السينما السعودية لهذا المستوى يوماً الاخراجي والسينمائي وخمنوا ماذا ؟ لقد وصل له فيلم ناقة

اذاً انتم وضعتم الفيلم في غير قالبه وحكمتم عليه بالقالب الذي وضعتموه له وهذه ليست مشكلة الفيلم او صانعيه الفيلم وضع نفسه في قوالب افلام جوردان بيليه مثل get out وغيرها انتم وضعتموه مع a space odyssey وطالبتوه ب رسائل اجتماعيه دامغه وترك عناصر التشويق والاثارة والرعب والالتفات فقط لقضاياكم…
really thought this was going to just be this girl fighting a vicious killer camel for two hours and that is not what i got, so i'm a little disappointed, but this was still a good use of my time

If you ever wanted to see a girl battle a camel in the desert while insulting everyone she meets, this film will be perfect for you.
The opening sequence caught me up, and I was sold on the film and engaged with it straight away. The protagonist is plucky and wroth. She keeps insulting everyone except her boyfriend, who she hisses at sometimes but seems mostly polite. Apparently her father is important and this is normal? She is fairly ferocious and extremely rude and I love it.

a film designed to stress you out. an anxiety driven plot that ends with relief. it makes you hold your breath until the last 5 minutes where you’d finally get the opportunity to breathe. especially when she starts eating at the end, symbolising her victory and the end of the nightmare. great performance from saudi actress. considering it’s her first ever lead role, she nailed it. this is also director meshal aljaser’s first feature film, and i’m impressed. what a great debut!!
فلم مصمم على انه يقلقك و يوتّرك. الحبكة قائمة على القلق و تنتهي بالراحة. يخليك تمسك نَفَسِك طول الفلم الى اخر ٥ دقايق، فيعطيك فرصة تتنفس خاصةً لما بدأت تاكل الذبيحة. حسيت انها فازت و انتهى الكابوس. آداء قوي من أضواء بدر كونه أول دور رئيسي لها. المخرج مشعل الجاسر أيضًا أبدع في أول فلم طويل له.
