Prompt #1: Go - Whenever you pass Go, you collect $200. Watch a movie that grossed at least $200 million.

Prompt #2: Mediterranean Avenue (Brown) - Ultimately, I enjoyed putting this hunt together, but I struggled to come up with an idea for Mediterranean Avenue that I liked (which sucked because it's the second prompt). When in doubt, I usually go with a pun. Since there are palm trees in the Mediterranean, watch a movie directed by Brian De Palma.

Prompt #3: Baltic Avenue (Brown) - For over 400 years, the Kingdom of Denmark extracted "sound dues", a type of toll, on ships using the straits at the Baltic Sea. To pay sound its due, watch a film that was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Sound, Sound Mixing, Sound Editing, or any of the various sound categories over the years.

Prompt #4: Reading Railroad - I know it's pronounced "red-ing", but whenever I see Reading Railroad, I think of Reading Rainbow, a show designed to encourage kids to read. Watch a movie based off a children's book.

Prompt #5: Oriental Avenue (Light Blue) - Oriental rugs are made in the region from Morocco and North Africa to parts of India and Asia, including many Middle Eastern countries. Watch a movie from a Middle Eastern country.

Prompt #6: Vermont Avenue (Light Blue) - Vermont is a destination for "leaf peeping", where people make trips to watch the leaves change color in Autumn. Watch a Fall film. If you need inspiration, check out this list.

Prompt #7: Connecticut Avenue (Light Blue) - Connecticut is also known for its foliage. Watch a movie with a flower, tree, or any type of plant on the poster.

Prompt #8: Jail - Go directly to watch a prison movie. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

Prompt #9: St. Charles Place (Pink) - Saint Charles led the way in establishing seminaries and other schools for education in the Catholic church. Watch a movie featuring students being educated.

Prompt #10: Electric Company - There's no company more electric than good friends. Watch a movie about friends.

Prompt #11: States Avenue (Pink) - Forget the States, there's plenty of them on this list. Watch a movie with a cinematographer who wasn't born in the US.

Prompt #12: Virginia Avenue (Pink) - Virginia was the tenth state admitted to the Union. Watch a movie with a title that has ten or fewer characters.

Prompt #13: Pennsylvania Railroad - Pennsylvania is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team. Watch a movie set in a snowy location. Bonus points if it's a penguin movie.

Prompt #14: St. James Place (Orange) - James is the patron saint of veterinarians. Watch a movie about or starring animals.

Prompt #15: Tennessee Avenue (Orange) - Tennessee Williams is one of the greatest playwrights of the 20th Century. Watch a film based off of a play. Bonus points if it's a Tennessee Williams play.

Prompt #16: New York Avenue (Orange) - Watch a new movie. However you define "new" is fine with me.

Prompt #17: Free Parking - Take advantage of Free Parking and watch a movie you already own that you haven't seen.

Prompt #18: Kentucky Avenue (Red) - The Kentucky Derby is this month, and millions of dollars will be bet on who will win. Watch a movie about a big bet. A list of ideas can be found here.

Prompt #19: Indiana Avenue (Red) - I'm a Hoosier! Watch a movie on my watchlist or you can watch Hoosiers.

Prompt #20: Illinois Avenue (Red) - Illinois Avenue in Atlantic City (where Monopoly gets its place names) was renamed after Martin Luther King Jr. in the 1980s. Watch a movie about the civil rights movement.

Prompt #21: B.&O. Railroad - B.&O. may mean the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, but where I come from, B.O. is body odor, and that stinks! Watch a movie that stinks. If you need help figuring out what might be bad, watch the lowest rated movie on your watchlist, or a movie that someone you follow has rated 2 stars or fewer.

Prompt #22: Atlantic Avenue (Yellow) - Across the Atlantic, the UK version of Monopoly has Leicester Square in this space. Leicester Square, which is in the West End of London. The West End is known for its theatre productions. Watch a musical.

Prompt #23: Ventnor Avenue (Yellow) - Ventnor is named after an English resort town on the Isle of Wight. Watch a film that was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Outstanding British Film.

Prompt #24: Water Works - Watch a film that might make you cry.

Prompt #25: Marvin Gardens (Yellow) - Watch a movie featuring music by Marvin Gaye. A list of Marvin Gaye songs used in movies can be found here.

Prompt #26: Pacific Avenue (Green) - A dream of my wife and I is to fly across the Pacific and visit Australia. Watch a movie with an Australian director.

Prompt #27: North Carolina Avenue (Green) - North Carolina is a hot bed of professional wrestling. Watch a movie starring a pro wrestler, such as The Rock, John Cena, Dave Bautista, Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, or anyone else who went from the wrestling ring to the silver screen.

Prompt #28: Pennsylvania Avenue (Green) - Pennsylvania is used twice in Monopoly, so watch a sequel.

Prompt #29: Short Line - Watch a film that's shorter than 90 minutes.

Prompt #30: Park Place (Dark Blue) - One of my favorite places to be is the park...the ballpark! Watch a baseball movie, but if you can't stand baseball, any sports movie or documentary will do.

Prompt #31: Boardwalk (Dark Blue) - Watch a movie featuring someone from the cast of Boardwalk Empire.
