just……because you say…… your lines….so….slowly………..does not mean……you….are feeding………suspense……
I thought we’d get another Acrimony, because when Tyler Perry does trash he does it better than anymore else. But this was the worst crime a movie can commit: boring. And the least sexy erotic thriller I’ve seen since Body of Evidence. And least Madonna got more to do in her train wreck than Kelly Rowland does.
A reminder: Trevante Rhodes was in Moonlight. His career after that is criminal.
Half a star only because I adore Kelly Rowland. Bias aside, this was not good by any standard. Tyler Perry continues his reign of terror against cinema. Badly paced, poorly written… awful performances. Black audiences deserve better. How he manages to get away with the constant mediocrity is the only interesting thing about his work.
I hope he uses his powers for good one day, and stops terrorizing audiences with his nonsense.
Mea Culpa is classic Tyler Perry (derogatory). The dialogue is just so insane. The plot is even crazier. Just so many bizarre choices at every turn. The acting is also terrible. Honestly I’m at a loss for words. Overall, this was truly a kino experience. Tyler Perry is such an expert at making the worst films possible. Never change.
