The Academy Award for Best Stunt Design, to be introduced in 2028 at the 100th Academy Awards, will be given annually for the best achievement in stunt design in a film from the previous year.

This award will be the first new category introduced since the Academy Award for Best Casting was introduced in 2026 at the 98th Academy Awards. The Academy rejected the proposal for a Best Stunt Coordination award every year from 1991 to 2012.
