Eiji's range: gay office virgin-> straight office virgin
Jokes aside this movie is very unserious so don't watch it with any expectations on science and how zombies work because the leads are padded with plot armor (metal plot armor at one point) being the only reason why they haven't turned.
Watch it if:
1) You are in love with Eiji Akaso because he gives range here (usual adorable cutie with no backbone) and is even shirtless GASP
2) You liked sharknado or anything goofy because the zombie shark here has legs
3) Have 2 hours to burn watching Eiji Akaso pretend to be a superhero
Pros: good soundtrack, cinematography, was pretty funny (Eiji has good comedic timing as usual)
P.S. Doing things and saying you deserve to turn into zombie food if you haven't done them is good motivation to be honest
I had no idea this existed until Rumson brought some zombie shark with legs.
And to be honest, there was indeed a big CGI white shark who fell from a roof and when one of the survivors said, “It’s alright, it can move on land,” apparently the shark ate some zombies who somehow, some way, broke a whole below the shark and got to release their feet and that’s how the shark now can walk and run and wreak havoc. I thought it was going to look stupid—which kind of does—but also really cool.
The rest of the movie is alright. I didn’t expect the criticism on Japanese abusive labor’s world, in particular the entertainment’s world. So that was new.…

Zombie shark, doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-doo…
Lighthearted and a little too over the top but also fun and with a killer soundtrack. It’s manga adapted so it’s very unserious, think zombieland but Japanese.
I'd pick a pandemic zombie apocalypse over late stage capitalism every time.
